How do I request access to TechShare.Defense?
Go to defense.techsharetx.gov and register as a prospective user of the software; this will start the process for using the TechShare.Defense attorney portal. Step-by-step instructions are available here.

What is the difference between the SaaS and "Buy-In" Pricing Models?
Local governments can decide to gain access to this software through two different contracting methods: Software as a Service (SaaS) or Buy-In. Under SaaS, local governments gain access by paying an annual fee to use the software. With the Buy-In pricing model, a local government can obtain shared ownership of the software through an upfront fee. This fee is distributed to all local government entities who share ownership. Under either pricing model, qualified local governments obtain the rights to use/share ownership of the software by entering into an Interlocal Agreement. A lengthy and costly procurement process is not required. Contact us to request more information.
How do I reset my password?
You may reset your password from the login page. As with many web-based systems, it will be necessary to enter the email address associated with your user account. Instructions will be sent via email.
How do I request a quote for one of your products?

How can a software company be non-profit?
TechShare is a Local Government Corporation under Texas law, created to serve the local governments that use TechShare software. Instead of creating profits for private-sector owners, TechShare works on a cost-sharing model. In this model, the participants establish annual budgets for the maintenance, operation and development of the various software products and components.
